高锐表示，技术垄断、贸易壁垒等现象的出现，不利于国际技术交流和研发，但他相信，中国作为一个负责任的技术大国，将迎难而上，巩固其技术引领优势。

While the arrival of the Year of the Snake ignites new hopes, Francis Gurry, former director general of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) warned of new challenges and risks ahead, during an exclusive interview with China News Network.

For another, Gurry pointed out that technological monopolies and trade barriers impede international technological exchange and research.
